Special interests: Transfusion medicine and therapeutic apheresis
Dr Douglas was appointed to his current post as Consultant Haematologist with the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS), Glasgow in 2004 and is Medical Director of the SNBTS Clinical Apheresis Unit, Glasgow. He has published in the areas of therapeutic apheresis, blood stem cell collection and related allogeneic donor care.
His main clinical and research interests are in transfusion medicine and therapeutic apheresis.
