Dr Indran Balakrishnan is Clinical Lead and Hon. Assoc. Professor in Medical Microbiology at Royal Free London and University College London, respectively. He also chairs the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee at the Royal Free. His research interests include the rapid detection of antimicrobial resistance and the clinical application of new antibiotics.
