Dr Corrina Wright is Clinical Director of the National Cervical Screening Laboratory in Dublin, Ireland and a Consultant Cytopathologist. She is a clinical leader with over fifteen years of NHS consultant experience in improving pathways and outcomes in pathology services and screening programmes.
She is a Professional Clinical Advisor for cervical screening to the national Screening Quality Assurance Service, (SQAS), for NHS England, as well as being a Consultant Cytopathologist and the Research Lead at Cervical Screening London, (CSL).
She has been the Clinical Director for North West London Pathology, (NWLP), one of the largest NHS pathology providers in the UK. With her clinical leadership, she helped establish and transform centralised pathology services for a population of over 2 million. In 2024, NWLP won multiple national awards, including the Royal College of Pathologists team achievement award, and was a finalist at the HSJ Digital Awards.
She holds senior roles including membership of the Royal College of Pathologists, Certificate in Higher Cervical Cytopathology Training, (CHCCT) examinations committee and NHS England Research and Innovation Development Advisory Committee, (RIDAC), for cervical screening.
