The role will involve assisting with administrative duties and performing tests and procedures within target deadlines, as determined by The Doctors Laboratory and its Consultant Pathologists. The post will involve the need to manage sections of the laboratory on rotation with other senior BMS staff.

 

Significant post registration experience in Histology is expected, and the successful applicant will need to become fully familiar with the laboratory IT system and its appropriate utilisation in the discharge of their duties. Duties will include to receive and where necessary, to immediately act upon all incoming calls/emails to the department from clients and patients and to carry out administrative duties as required by Directors/Managers of respective sections of TDL Genetics, you will also be responsible to book courier collections using the on line booking system whilst ensuring that the AX e-Price portal is managed and up to date and to enter patient results onto the WinPath database and producing reports. The successful candidate will also be responsible of processing of special client monthly invoice requirements and liaising with the Finance department to resolve any invoice queries raised by patients/clients.

 

The successful applicant will be expected to work from 8:30am – 5:30pm, Mon – Fri.

 

Experience in clinical administration is desirable.
